Two worlds, very different, surround the house. The front's extraordinary garden is made of eclectic trees and shrubs. At the back of the house, you can enjoy the calm on the long lawn with the tall wall, lined with flowers and pears in September.
Barbery is set between the "plaine de Caen" and the Suisse Normande with it's rolling hills, ideal for walking or bicycling. Kayaks & pedalos are available 10 minutes away.
The centre of Caen, its museums, abbeys and the Memorial is 20 minutes away. Bayeux, the tapestry, and the beaches 45 minutes. Honfleur : 45 mns, Mt St michel 1h 1/2,
Paris 2h 1/2.
